Video server performs conversion and compression of analog video signal transmitted via coaxial cable into data steam that can be distributed in twisted-pair Ethernet.
This ULTINET video server uses H.264 compression. This type of deep compression is characterized by capability of providing good video quality at substantially lower bitrates than the previous standards. It saves disk space of the NVR and bandwidth of the network. There can be transmitted high quality video (4CIF) at 25 fps (PAL).
The video server is equipped with "Net Video Application Software" - advanced network video recorder (NVR) that can manage all devices from ULTISYSTEM family.

The ULTISYSTEM family consists of:
ULTINET-701 employs advanced methods of access control.
The administrator/user can adjust bitrate, resolution, and frame rate, as well as:
- image quality,
- kind of frame,
- kind of stream,
- bitrate option,
- "I" frame type appearance,
- maximum bitrate.
Maximum bitrate can be chosen from the set range of values, or freely adjusted up to 8 Mbps.
The device can be configured via Internet browser or with the enclosed ULTIMAX client software. The software also enables the operator to control analog PTZ cameras.
The video server has the following connectors/interfaces:
- two BNC sockets (video & audio) for connecting analog camera
- two JACK sockets for connecting audio (line in & out)
- RS485 (terminal strip)
- two alarm connectors - input & output (terminal strip)
- two RJ45 sockets (one of them is used as RS232 port - linked via special cable to a PC with TFTP Serwer application, the second one - regular Ethernet interface.
Analog PTZ cameras are connected via RS485 interface. The video server supports over 80 PTZ protocols. It is also equipped with hardware motion detection with definable areas and sensitivity levels.
Change of alarm input level can trigger:
- OSD warning
- sound warning
- activation of alarm input
The device is based on Linux RTOS. It supports TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, Multicast, PPPoE protocols, and allows to cooperate with Network Attached Storage (NAS).
