Hikvision switches are professional, unmanaged PoE switches designed for small and medium-sized IP surveillance installations and building automation systems. The devices in this series are characterised by high reliability and simple installation.
The switches support PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology, which allows IP cameras and other devices to be powered directly via the network cable. This solution significantly facilitates installation and reduces the need for additional cabling.
Distinguishing features:
  • Intelligent PoE management
      • If the power budget is exceeded, the PoE ports will automatically adjust the output power so as not to damage the switch.
  • PoE transmission over long distances - up to 300m
      • The maximum distance between IP cameras and the switch can be up to 300 metres.
  • Adaptive 4/8-wire power supply.
      • By using up to eight wires to power the end devices, power loss on the cable is reduced.
  • Surge protection for increased reliability in harsh environments.
      • A built-in surge protection module protects the device from sudden surges caused by lightning.
