Routerul gigabit TP-LINK TL-ER7206 a fost creat pentru a fi utilizat în companii mici şi mijlocii. Echipamentul este capabil a accesa simultan 4 reţele de tip WAN prin reconfigurarea a trei dintre cele patru porturi LAN. Aceasta înseamnă că router-ul poate realiza o conexiune la internet folosind serviciile de date a patru provideri diferiţi. Managementul integrat al resurselor de reţea permite distribuirea corectă a fluxului de date către fiecare port, oferind astfel o conexiune stabilă şi fiabilă.
TL-ER7206 poate crea tuneluri VPN IPSec/PPTP/L2TP bazate pe protocoale IPSec/SSL. Datorită capabilităților hardware extinse, routerul poate suporta până la 100 de conexiuni IPsec LAN-to-LAN și 50 conexiuni OpenVPN, 50 conexiuni L2TP și 50 conexiuni VPN PPTP. Funcția de generare conexiuni VPN IPSec cu un singur clic face procesul de configurare VPN și gestionarea rețelei mult mai ușor, protejând și criptând transferul de date punct-la-punct.

- VPN foarte sigur: acceptă până la 100 de conexiuni IP-LAN LAN-to-LAN și 50 conexiuni OpenVPN*, 50 conexiuni L2TP și 50 conexiuni VPN PPTP.
- Regulile avansate de firewall, protecție împotriva atacurilor DoS și filtrare IP/MAC/URL pentru protecția rețelei și a datelor.
