TERRA - F1 among multiswitches

TERRA company is a Lithuanian manufacturer of high class equipment for SMATV/MATV and CATV systems. DIPOL is a distributor of TERRA products in Poland. The equipment manufactured by TERRA is regularly winning awards at exhibitions and trade fairs. This time the "SAT Krak 2009 - The best multiswitch" award has been given for the series of radial multiswitches.

Wianki 2009 in Krakow

Each year, on the next to last Saturday of June, an open-air event takes place in Krakow, on the Vistula, in remembrance of the Slavic folk custom, popularly known as Wianki. This year the event has been captured by megapixel ULTICAM camera from DIPOL.

On Saturday, March 28, 2009, at 8:30 p.m. local time, 3943 communities in 88 countries of the world joined in the global effort known as "Earth Hour" by turning off lights. The campaign was organized for the third time by the WWF (World Wildlife Fund), to counter the changes to Earth's climate system. Although the phenomenon of human impact on global warming is controversial, we observed active involvement in the action around the world. In Poland the effort was supported by 38 localities which turned off the light in over 280 buildings and structures, as well as by many people in their homes.

CeBIT - Crisis or Opportunity?

The world's leading trade fair for IT and telecommunications, or ICT industry - CeBIT 2009 in Hanover - took place from March 3 to 8. This year there were about 4300 companies from 69 countries, exhibiting their products, and about 400,000 visitors. However, these numbers showing the scale of the event are much smaller than that of the peak 2001 year with 8100 exhibitors.
