Optical Laser Source: TM102N-MM (850/1300nm)
Cod: L5823
The TM102N-SM L5819 optical laser source is a tool necessary for attenuation measurements of optical path in networks based on multimode fibres. The source generates laser beams of predetermined wavelengths (850/1300 nm) and power (-7 dBm) to ensure reliable and accurate measurements.
The device generates 850 nm or 1300 nm laser beams at the power level of -7 dBm, as a constant (CW) or modulated wave with the frequency of 270 Hz, 1 kHz, or 2 kHz. Short-term stability of the light source is below 0.04 dB for time spans below 15 minutes. The device can operate in the temperature range of -10°C to +50°C.
The tip is dedicated for SC/PC connectors (2.5 mm ferrules). Thanks to its small size and low weight, the device is ideal for field applications. It is powered by three AAA batteries (not included).
Key features:
- generated wavelength: 850 nm or 1300 nm,
- output power: -7.0 dBm,
- AUTO-OFF function when no activity is detected,
- easy to read, backlit screen,
- small size and low weight,
- simple and intuitive operation.
PLEASE NOTE! The laser beam is dangerous for your eyes! Handle with care!
