Visualization of the cable

ZTT DAC L79404 fiber optic cable for direct underground installation. The cable has a PE sheath with high crushing resistance (1500 N). Cables with such sheath are also resistant to low temperatures. This version of the cable can also be used outdoors (e.g. going from the ground to a pole) due to the fact that the outer sheath is UV-resistant (standard orange earth cables can crumble after a few years under the influence of radiation).

The cable can be used on the last mile of a FTTH system, as well as any installation that requires in ground connections, where casing pipes cannot be used for additional protection.

The cable can also be installed in existing telecommunication ducts: the maximum pulling force during installation equals 1200 N.

Inside the central tube, there are 4 G.652D fibers. The central tube is filled with gel to protect fibers from moisture and vibration. The cable is reinforced with two 0.5 mm diameter FRP bars.

The thickness of the cable is 5.3 mm and the sheath thickness is 1.2 mm. These dimensions make this cable easy to work with. For opening the tube we recommend the Ideal L5922 stripper.
