FTTH Optical Receiver TERRA OD-004A R81717 is used in systems distributing satellite DVB-S/S2, DVB-T and FM/DAB signals via optical fibers. Fiber-optic systems are characterized by low loss and immunity to electromagnetic interference, so they can easily transmit signals over long distances.
The high sensitivity of the device within -15...-6 dBm range and optional -8...0 dBm range allow for economical distribution of the optical signal. The maximum output level of 104 dBµV is suitable for providing RF signals via passive splitters/taps to tens of outlets in apartments or offices, without a need for an additional amplifier.
