Detalii

REC-109 R69958 SIGNAL PRO optical receiver is designed for use in SMATV installations and extended distribution networks based on single-mode optical fibre. Its task is to convert the WDM optical signal delivered from the TR-901 R69956 transmitter to eight SAT IF outputs in QUATRO standard (VL, VH, HL, HH) for each of the two satellite positions, and to the outputs of terrestrial radio/DVB-T2 signals.
REC-109 R69958 SIGNAL PRO receiver ensures full compatibility with typical satellite multiswitches (especially the SIGNAL PRO series) and allows to build point-to-multipoint structures using optical fibre signal distribution. Due to the high sensitivity of the optical path and the built-in output level stabilisation system, the receiver guarantees reliable operation in large building and community installations.
Key features:
  • compatible with TR-901 R69956 SIGNAL PRO optical transmitter working in WDM technology
  • 2xQUATRO + radio/DVB-T2 type output
  • built-in AGC (Automatic Gain Control) circuit, which ensures stability of the signal at the output of the device
  • supported wavelengths: 1330-1570 nm
  • conversion of optical signal to full bandwidth 2x SAT IF (VL/VH/HL/HH) in QUATRO circuit and radio/DVB-T2 signals
  • high noise immunity and stable operation over a wide input power range
  • large optical budget for multi-point installations
  • optical connection type SC/APC
  • built-in LEDs for easy diagnostics and configuration
  • possibility to work in installations with signal division on 16 receivers
Thanks to the use of WDM technology and precision filters, the REC-109 receiver provides effective wavelength separation, resulting in low distortion and excellent output signal quality. The receiver's high sensitivity allows it to operate even with significant attenuation of the optical path, extending the design possibilities of installations over longer distances. The metal, robust construction protects the internal systems, ensures efficient heat dissipation and enables fault-free operation 24/7. An additional advantage is the intuitive diagnostics based on LED, which allows the installer to quickly assess the device's operating parameters and possible abnormalities. On the other hand, stabilised RF signal level eliminates differences resulting from the length of cabling or changes in optical path conditions, thanks to which the receiver guarantees uniform, repeatable parameters throughout the installation.

LEDs informing about the input signal level.
The optical receiver is equipped with LEDs that clearly and intuitively inform the user of the current input signal level. This allows the user to react efficiently to possible irregularities, minimising the risk of interference, overdrive or loss of transmission quality. Installation of the device can be carried out without an optical power meter.

SC/APC OPTICAL CONNECTOR.
The SC/APC optical connector is a standard interface used in fibre optic transmission systems, providing a high quality and reliable connection. The use of APC (Angled Physical Contact) polishing at an angle of 8° significantly reduces the back reflection of the optical signal, resulting in lower losses and better transmission quality. In contrast to the FC/UPC connectors commonly used in this type of system, SC/APC connectors do not pose any problems when connecting and operating equipment.
.
1 Transmitter - 2 SATELLITE POSITIONS + RADIO/DVB-T2.
One transmitter supporting two satellite positions and Radio/DVB-T2 terrestrial signals is a universal solution for modern RTV installations. This combination simplifies the installation structure, reduces the number of devices and cabling required and increases the functionality of the entire system.

WDM TECHNOLOGY
Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) techniques are methods of multiplying signals in an optical fibre by using different wavelengths of light. Each wavelength carries an independent data stream. Efficient use of infrastructure - one fibre instead of multiple cables, reduces network construction and maintenance costs.

Signal PRO installation example
Optical-copper RTV/SAT installation using the professional line of SIGNAL PRO brand equipment for 256 apartments:
  • satellite TV (2 satellite positions)
  • terrestrial TV, radio
  • distribution in 1 fibre optic fibre
  • division of signal into 4 optical paths
This solution can be used in large facilities where the distance between staircases is more than a few tens of metres and you want to transmit the RTV/SAT signal in a single optical fibre. Fibre optic cable provides excellent insulation against surges. This means that any surges induced in the vicinity of the antennas will stop at the optical transmitter installed immediately behind them - all other elements of the installation are 100% protected.
The TR-901 R69956 SIGNAL PRO optical transmitter enables distribution of radio/DVB-T2 and SAT signals from two satellite positions via a single optical fibre. The built-in LEDs on the housing of the transmitter allow quick verification of the correctness of the connections and ongoing diagnostics of the network. Transmission of signals from two satellite positions is carried out using WDM technology. The 1x4 SC/APC optical splitter SIGNAL PRO A98864 is used to split the optical signal into four independent paths. The signal is then sent to the REC-109 R69958 optical receiver, which converts the signal from fibre to the copper medium. The receiver splits the full bandwidth into eight polarisation/band pairs (VL, HL, VH, HH) - analogous to the operation of two classical QUATRO-type converters - and into a radio/DVB-T2 signal. The optical receivers are followed by standard multiswitch installation based on Signal PRO multiswitches. In the case of a larger number of multiswitches or long copper lines, it is necessary to use the R69900 bus amplifier included in the diagram.
