The DS-2SE7C124IW-AE(32X/4)(O-STD)(S5) is a hybrid camera from Hikvision's TandemVu series that combines the advantages of a fixed-position wide-angle panoramic camera and a PTZ camera. The fixed-position module allows you to observe a wide area, while the PTZ module allows you to zoom in precisely to observe details. Thanks to image analytics and perimeter protection, once the rules set in the image are met, the PTZ module can track an object with the appropriate zoom (rules can be set in the image of the panoramic and PTZ camera). The PTZ camera also allows to observe the area outside the field of view of the fixed position camera. The model described is equipped with AcuSense technology, based on a deep learning algorithm which allows for filtering human and vehicle objects, resulting in more efficient operation and reduced false alarms. The fixed position module has a sensor with a resolution of 4 MP and a focal length of 4 mm. The PTZ module has a sensor with 2 MP resolution and a focal length of 58.4° – 2.14°. Featuring advanced image analysis, 32x optical zoom, IR illumination with a range of up to 200m, and the ability to generate audio and visual alarms (LEDs), the camera can be successfully used to monitor a wide variety of sites such as roads, airports, sports facilities, parks, rivers, railroads, etc. The camera has three independent streams and supports several compression methods: H.265(+)/H.264(+)/MJPEG. The possibility of connecting a microphone and built-in speaker, allow for two-way communication, eavesdropping on the monitored object, and audio recording. The IP66 and IK10 rated housing (excluding glass) provides protection from vandalism and weather conditions. The camera can be powered conventionally with 24 VAC or via Hi-PoE.

The camera mechanism can pan 360° at speeds from 0.1 to 160°/s (240°/s between presets). With advanced image correction features such as: BLC, HLC, 3D-DNR, WDR(120 dB), Defog, EIS (electronic image stabilization), regional exposure and focus setting, the camera performs well under challenging operating conditions. Combined with a 32x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom, the camera can monitor vast areas zoomed in up to 512x! The possibility to set up to 300 presets, 8 patrols and 4 routes allows you to fine-tune the camera's view and create specific patrol routes. The camera can set up to 8 privacy masks for the panorama module and 4 privacy masks for the PTZ module.

AcuSense cameras are based on deep learning algorithms, enabling classification of targets based on human and vehicle silhouette using intelligent VCA analysis such as motion detection intrusion detection, line crossing, area entry and exit. With accurate recognition, the system can filter out more than 90% of false alarm events (e.g. animals, rain, cobwebs, moving leaves, etc.) which significantly increases the accuracy and efficiency of alarming and contributes to lower labor costs. The following are the options which combine solutions from different series.

Compression is a very important parameter proving the device advancement. The better the compression, the lower the bandwidth requirement with the same subjective quality. H.265 (HEVC - High Efficiency Video Coding) is currently the most efficient compression method. Compared to its predecessor (H.264), it reduces the data stream and the demand for disk capacity by half. Therefore, hard drives with a halved capacity can be used, or recordings can be stored for twice as long. Its improved version H.265+ has been optimized for use in CCTV monitoring systems. They allow for further reduction of data streams.

iVMS-4200 is client software dedicated to the management and supervision of Hikvision security systems, such as DVRs (IP, TurboHD), video intercoms, access control, set-top boxes, etc. The software allows you to easily and conveniently monitor all systems by offering viewing from IP cameras, remote playback of recordings, remote configuration, handling of alarm events, two-way audio transmission, e-map support, recording to a HDD and many more.

Hikvision devices can be operated via mobile phones with Android or iOS using the dedicated Hik-Connect mobile application. It can be used for remote live viewing from DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras, video intercoms over the WiFi, 2G or 3G and to view saved recordings. Operating video intercoms with the application provides also remote opening of the electric strike, receiving notifications and transferring calls from the entrance panel to the phone in the absence of the subscriber. The application supports connectivity over IP and a P2P cloud. Hik-Connect is also the name of the cloud service that provides access to devices in the absence of an external IP address.

The degree of protection (IK rating) against external mechanical impacts offered by electrical equipment housing is defined in the EN 62262 standard. The EN 62262:2003 standard also specifies the conditions of the testing procedure.

The camera has an IK10 rating.

SADP (Search Active Device Protocol) is a free, easy-to-use utility designed to search for Hikvision IP cameras and DVRs/NVRs in the local network. The network device search tool can also be used to modify device network parameters, e.g. to change or recover default passwords.
