The - 2CD2A25G0/P-IZS(C) is a professional DeepinView series Hikvision IP camera dedicated to the identification of license plates LPR(License Plate Recognition) and parametric protection in the form of a virtual line and an intrusion area. It is a new generation camera in which the license plate recognition function is supported by the AI artificial intelligence algorithm. The license plates are identified after an object is defined as a vehicle, which makes the process more efficient. The camera is equipped with a 1/1.8 "Progressive Scan CMOS sensor which generates an image with a resolution of up to 2 MP. High camera sensitivity of 0.0005 lx in color mode, Darkfighter technology, wide dynamic range WDR (140dB) and other functions enhancing image quality, including: BLC, HLC, 3D-DNR, Defog, EIS make the camera suitable for advanced applications. The camera has a P-Iris Motozoom (Autofocus) lens with a focal length of 2.8-12 mm, allowing for remote viewing angle changes in the range of 114.5°-41.8°. The camera is in IK10 vandal-resistant design and has a quality IP67 housing which protects the electronics against the adverse weather. The camera can be powered conventionally with 12 VDC or through PoE (802.802.3af Class 4).
Road traffic and vehicle detection
The iDS-2CD2A25G0/P-IZS(C) camera with the AI artificial intelligence algorithm is dedicated to identify license plates. It has an option of setting the identification to 4 lanes, but it is recommended to use it for 1 or 2 lanes. It can work autonomously. White list and black list categories of license plates can be imported directly to the camera. Depending on the category of a given license plate, you can control one of the 2 relay outputs (control the barrier, entrance gate, etc.) that the camera is equipped with, or trigger the alarm events available: notification to the monitoring center, sending a photo to FTP , memory card, NAS server. If the vehicle is not on any of the lists, it will also be recorded. A list of 10,000 license plate numbers can be imported directly into the camera. In addition to working autonomously, the camera can work with a DVR for a greater functionality. Series I IP DVRs are recommended for use with the LPR function. When building a system for identifying license plates based on a camera and a DVR, the list of license plates can be imported directly to the DVR. In addition to the white and black lists, the recorder has a tab where you can configure triggering an alarm event for vehicles which are not on any list. From the DVR level, it is possible to trigger the following alarm events: full screen, sound warning, alarm in the monitoring center, sending an e-mail or triggering any alarm output visible in the system. There is also a tab dedicated to the identification of license plates available in the DVR, where you can easily and quickly search for the plate numbers of interest, display detection photos and accompanying recordings.
Functionality and performance:

Camera installation:
Refer to our library for basic information on the camera installation, viewing angles and calculation of the required number of pixels per license plate at a given distance. Based on that, you can make calculations for a camera with any sensor size and resolution and select the appropriate focal length of the lens.

More technologies supported
H.265(+) compression
H.265(+): greater compression with H.264 video quality
The camera implements several video compression methods, H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264, MJPEG. Compared to H.264, the H.265 standard can reduce the data stream by half, which translates into proportional disk space savings and extended data retention time. H.265+ and H.264+ are Hikvision compression standards based on the original systems and optimized for CCTV applications. They further minimize the streams in typical video surveillance scenarios, compared to H.265 and H.264. With some video compression methods implemented, the camera can be used in CCTV systems based on modern NVRs implementing the H.265 standard (the DS-76/77/96NI-I/K series supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264). Legacy devices using the H.264 (the DS-76/77NI-E series supports H.264+, H.264) are also supported.
Continuous recording guaranteed with the ANR function
With the support of ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment), an IP camera with a memory card can record videos even in the absence of network connection. Once the network connection is restored, the recordings will automatically synchronize with the material recorded with the NVR. This ensures a continuous coverage of events, even in the event of communication problems between the camera and the NVR.
Convenient client software
iVMS-4200 is a client software dedicated for the management of Hikvision systems such as NVRs (IP, TurboHD), video intercoms, access control, decoders, etc. The software makes it easy and convenient to control all the systems, providing a live view from IP cameras, remote playback, remote configuration, alarm event support, two-way audio transmission, e-maps, HDD recording, and many other functions. The app allows to manage up to 256 devices and streamed footage from 64 cameras on up to 4 monitors.
Access via mobile devices
Hikvision devices can be operated via mobile phones with Android or iOS using the dedicated Hik-Connect mobile application. It can be used for remote live viewing from DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras, video intercoms over the WiFi, 2G or 3G and to view saved recordings. Operating video intercoms with the application provides also remote opening of the electric strike, receiving notifications and transferring calls from the entrance panel to the phone in the absence of the subscriber. The application supports connectivity over IP and a P2P cloud. Hik-Connect is also the name of the cloud service that provides access to devices in the absence of an external IP address.
Protection against vandalism
The degree of protection (IK rating) against external mechanical impacts offered by electrical equipment housing is defined in the EN 62262 standard. The EN 62262:2003 standard also specifies the conditions of the testing procedure.
The camera has an IK10 rating.
