DS-2CD1T47G3-LIU is a compact IP camera from Hikvision featuring a hybrid illuminator, equipped with ColorVu 3.0 technology and Motion Detection 3.0. Cameras from the EasyIP Lite series offer the basic, most commonly used functions, making them the ideal solution for most installations where stable and fault-free operation is required. Thanks to ColorVu 3.0 technology, the camera can record colour footage at night whilst retaining details essential for identification. The Motion Detection 3.0 function eliminates false alarms by filtering out human and vehicle-type objects. The camera features a 1/3" CMOS sensor with a resolution of 4 Mpix and a hybrid illuminator with a range of up to 50 m, ensuring clear visibility in the absence of ambient light. Thanks to the integration of IR and LED illuminators in a single housing, it is possible to select one of three low-light operating modes – IR, white LED light or smart mode. The 4 mm fixed-focus lens provides a viewing angle of 84.1°. The built-in microphone enables audio recording. Support for both older and the latest H.265(+) compression methods allows for extended recording storage time, whilst maintaining excellent image quality and backwards compatibility. The high-grade IP67 sealed housing protects the electronics from adverse weather conditions. The camera can be powered conventionally via DC 12 V or via PoE (compliant with the 802.3af standard).

Hikvision ColorVu 3.0 is a modern video surveillance technology that provides a clear and colorful image even in low light conditions. Thanks to the use of HikAI-ISP, an image signal processor based on artificial intelligence, the image is brighter, less noisy and motion blur has been eliminated, which significantly increases the quality of recordings in severe conditions. 3D LUT technology provides color correction, ensures accurate color reproduction and better image quality.
The camera uses a motion detection algorithm 3.0, which is based on deep learning and allows alarms to be filtered for human and vehicle silhouettes, thus eliminating false alarms caused by e.g. animals, leaves, or changes in light. This algorithm is even better at handling difficult lighting conditions compared to the previous generation, taking motion detection to the next level. The newer version of the algorithm means that stationary vehicles no longer trigger false alarms caused by light reflecting off them, further improving the reliability of the entire system.
Hikvision has introduced Smart Hybrid Light cameras, which combine the advantages of traditional cameras and those of the ColorVu series. Traditional cameras have an IR illuminator that illuminates the scene, enabling night-time image recording at the expense of colour detail loss. ColorVu cameras, can record colour images around the clock, but the use of white light illumination is not always expected. To meet these requirements, Hikvision is introducing smart hybrid cameras with ColorVu technology, featuring three scene illumination modes - classic infrared, white LED light and smart mode. In smart mode, the camera triggers white light when a human silhouette or vehicle is detected, providing a colour image. Once the object leaves the detection zone, the camera switches back to IR mode. In addition to illuminating the scene to provide a colour image, the LED light has the additional function of deterring an intruder. The user decides which mode the camera will operate in.

Compression is a very important parameter proving the device advancement. The better the compression, the lower the bandwidth requirement with the same subjective quality. H.265 (HEVC - High Efficiency Video Coding) is currently the most efficient compression method. Compared to its predecessor (H.264), it reduces the data stream and the demand for disk capacity by half. Therefore, hard drives with a halved capacity can be used, or recordings can be stored for twice as long. Its improved version H.265+ has been optimized for use in CCTV monitoring systems. They allow for further reduction of data streams.

iVMS-4200 is client software dedicated to the management and supervision of Hikvision security systems such as DVRs (IP, TurboHD), video intercoms, access control, set-top boxes, etc. The software allows you to easily and conveniently monitor all systems. It offers IP camera viewing, remote playback of recordings, remote configuration, alarm event handling, two-way audio transmission, e-map support, hard disk recording and much more.

To operate Hikvision devices using mobile phones running the operating systemAndroid or iOS, the Hik-Connect mobile app is available. It can be used to remotely view live footage from DVR recorders, NVR, network cameras, video door phones using Wi-Fi, 2G or 3G networks, as well as for viewing recorded footage. Operating video door phones via the app also allows you to remotely unlock the electric strike, receive notifications and forward calls from the entry panel to your phone should the occupant be absent. The app supports connectivity via IP addresses and via the P2P cloud. Hik-Connect is also the name of a cloud-based service that enables access to devices when there is no external IP address.
