Application
The CF-716 amplifier is used to amplify and distribute satellite and terrestrial TV, and FM radio signals. This model is a special one, designed for the use in medium and large community installations working within 86 - 862 MHz band as well as and in the first intermediate satellite frequency band 950 - 2150 MHz. It has one wideband input. Gain adjustment, and cable's characteristic correction have been anticipated (the last - within terrestrial TV band; for sat. IF - fixed at 6 dB ). The amplifier is equipped with test outputs both for input and output.
The device has got return path amplifier with 10 dB gain and 5-65 MHz band.
Installation and security notice for amplifier's users
The amplifier is fed from its internal stabilized power supply, which is powered directly from the mains. It is not designed for the use in open spaces. It cannot be installed in wet conditions or near heaters and similar equipment. The unit requires natural ventilation, so it must not be covered by any objects. It ought not to be connected to the mains until all connections within an antenna installation have been properly made.
Earthing must be conjoined to the amplifier's earthing connectors with a cable having at least 6mm2 cross-section.
