View of the transmitter
The transmitter is used for wireless audio and video transmission at a frequency from 2.400-2.4835 GHz band. It has video and audio baseband inputs (RCA sockets). A VCR, DVD player, receiver, video camera or other device can be plugged into the inputs. Two RCA sockets are used to connect the left and right audio channel.
The transmitter is powered with 12 VDC (500mA).
Due to a limited bandwidth allowed by the rules for such purposes, the maximum number of channels, limiting also maximum number of transmitters which can work simultaneously, is 4.
A special micro-switch is used for changing between 4 available channels. There is also a possibility of manual adjustment of contrast.
The transmitter has an additional socket (SMA-type) for antenna connection, whose application has a great influence on transmission range. In case of a short distance between the transmitter and a receiver, a wire antenna can be used (length of 2.5cm). If the signal is to be sent over longer distances, it is better to use external antennas
